Top Rated Alcohol Treatment Center
Think back to the first time that you took a sip of alcohol. If someone had told you that that sip would result in an addiction to this substance, would you still have taken it? For the majority of people, the answer would be simple: no. However, it’s nearly impossible to predict if a person is going to need to attend an alcohol treatment center as a result of their alcohol addiction which is why the doors of the Pacific Manor facility are always open.
We understand that addiction is not a choice. Instead, it’s a disease that slowly but surely consumes every aspect of your life. Our team provides you with the opportunity to overcome this disease by participating in different forms of therapy and healing both physically and emotionally from your addiction.
Signs of Alcohol Addiction
Do you suspect that a friend or a loved one may need alcohol treatment? There are certain signs that you can look out for. Some examples include:
- Sudden secretiveness or anti-social tendencies
- Problems with money
- Issues maintaining relationships
- Loss of a job
- Defensiveness when drinking is brought up
Keep in mind that our team is always available to speak with concerned friends or family members that are interested in learning more about the disease of addiction and how they can help.
How is Rehab Different from Detox?
It’s important to understand that just because you go through a detox program doesn’t mean that you have overcome your addiction. Detox is only the first step. It’s a critical step, however, detox only allows you to remove the influence of alcohol from your body. It doesn’t help you to learn the tools that you need to know to maintain your sobriety. You will only learn these important aspects of your recovery when you commit to an alcohol treatment program.
Inpatient and Outpatient Rehab
Once you’ve made the decision to work toward your sobriety, the next choice that you will need to make is how you plan to do it. When you complete your detox program, you have the option to choose whether you want to continue your recovery in an inpatient or an outpatient setting. When possible, we will always recommend that clients that completed our detox program transition into an inpatient program because an inpatient program will provide them with the same continuous level of support as our detox program. You will have the peace of mind of knowing that you have a safe and healthy environment to live in during the course of your program so you can truly focus on your recovery.
We realize, however, that this isn’t always a possibility for some clients which is why we also offer the option to participate in outpatient treatment. You will still take part in the same type of therapy, however, you will be able to return back home at the end of your sessions so that you can see to personal or professional responsibilities.
